A 35kV (or 10kV) box-type step-up transformer (hereinafter referred to as a wind box transformer) is configured to boost the power output from photovoltaic and wind turbines first, and then converge to the boosting station and transfer it to the main grid system.
At present, photovoltaic projects and wind power projects at home and abroad are designed according to the "many on duty" operation and management method. The centralized control room of the entire power plant is set up at the booster station side, and the high-voltage microcomputer protection measurement and control device is integrated into a booster station integrated automation system (below (Referred to as the booster station integrated self-referencing system), and then realize the "remote signal, telemetry, remote control, remote adjustment" function of the booster station through remote scheduling.
Because the box transformer is far from the centralized control room and is very decentralized, the integrated system of the booster station has not been able to achieve the monitoring and control of the box transformer, making the box transformer system an island of information and a blind spot for monitoring in the power station. As the first transformation link of photovoltaic power generation and wind turbine power generation, it is imperative to realize remote management and automatic monitoring of the above-mentioned information of the box transformer, and to meet the "less-attended" operation management method of wind power projects.
